SEASONS

Cucumber variety 'Seasons' is a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground, plastic coverings, and commercial greenhouses. The plants are vigorous, indeterminate, with female flowering type and strong branching. 1-2 to 3-4 fruits form at each node, ensuring high yield. The fruits are spindle-shaped, 14-16 cm long, weighing 120-150 g, with dense but not rough, bright green skin, short light longitudinal stripes, and white spines on the middle ribbed surface.

The flesh is juicy, dense, and aromatic, giving the cucumbers excellent taste qualities. The hybrid exhibits high parthenocarpy, allowing fruit production without cross-pollination, which is especially important for cultivation in enclosed environments. The cucumbers are versatile: they are excellent for fresh consumption, vitamin salads, pickling, and preservation.

The variety is resistant to major cucumber diseases such as powdery mildew, olive spot, and virus mosaic, and tolerant to false powdery mildew. High shade tolerance allows cultivation even in shaded areas, for example, under apple trees. Yield in plastic-covered environments reaches 12-15 kg per square meter, making 'Seasons' an attractive choice for personal small-scale farms and commercial cultivation.
