Takeri

Takeri (KS 70) F1 is an ultra-early parthenocarpic hybrid of cornichon type with a maturation period of 35 to 42 days. Fruits reach a length of 10-12 cm, have a large-bumpy surface and dark green color. 3 to 5 fruits form in one flower, characterized by uniformity, dense internal structure with a small seed cavity, and absence of bitterness due to genetic traits. Fruit quality and shape are maintained throughout the fruiting period, and they do not become pear-shaped when overgrown.

The plant exhibits balanced growth with short internodes and a strong root system, ensuring high fruit set and resistance to stress. The hybrid tolerates stressful conditions well, is shade-tolerant, especially when grown in the second crop, and does not drop fruit. Takeri F1 is resistant to several diseases, including false powdery mildew, false bacterial leaf spot, anthracnose, cladosporiosis, and cucumber mosaic virus.

This hybrid is suitable for cultivation in plastic and stationary greenhouses, as well as in open ground during spring-summer and summer-autumn periods. Takeri F1 cucumbers are intended for fresh consumption, salad use, as well as for canning, pickling, and processing. Fruits withstand transportation well and have good storability, making them popular on the fresh market.
