MAGIC FLUTE

Cucumber F1 Magic Flute is a fast-maturing, sun-loving parthenocarpic hybrid intended for cultivation both in greenhouses and open ground. The plants are tall with moderate branching and female or predominantly female flowering, which promotes the formation of 1-2 to 3-4 fruits per node. This hybrid is characterized by high yield and adaptability to various growing conditions.

The zucchini of Magic Flute have a bumpy, white-spined surface and a cylindrical shape. Their length ranges from 11 to 15 cm, diameter from 2.9 to 3.5 cm, and weight varies between 90-130 g. The fruit color is dark green with short light longitudinal stripes, medium-sized bumps and medium frequency of distribution. A distinctive feature of this hybrid is its "pencil" type: straight, not thick zucchini that, after reaching market size, may remain thin for several days without thickening. This makes them especially convenient for vertical packing in jars "under the lid" for preservation.

The Magic Flute hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including powdery mildew, olive spot, and ordinary cucumber mosaic virus, as well as tolerance to false powdery mildew. The flavor qualities of fresh and preserved zucchini are very high, making this variety attractive both for home use and commercial cultivation. Recommended planting density is 2.5 plants per square meter in greenhouses and 3-4 plants per square meter in open ground.
