Cucumber Capital — this is a unique early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid, characterized by high yield and excellent fruit quality. The plant is vigorous, medium-branched, with a bouquet-type flower set, forming 7-8 fruits per node. The fruits are cylindrical, 10-12 cm long, 3.0-3.5 cm in diameter, weighing 90-130 grams. The fruits are dark green, ribbed, with a small seed cavity, strong cucumber aroma, and sweet taste, making them ideal for fresh consumption, preservation, and canning.
Hybrid Capital is resistant to major cucumber diseases, including root rot, olive spot, true powdery mildew, and tolerant to false powdery mildew. Thanks to these qualities, along with high yields of up to 12-14 kg per square meter, this variety is recommended for cultivation in greenhouses, open ground, and under temporary plastic covers. Fruit set begins 39-43 days after emergence and continues from June to August.
For successful cultivation, seeds are sown in seedbeds at the end of April to early May, and transplanted into the ground at the two- to three-true-leaf stage in late May to early June. Sowing in open ground is also recommended during this period with optimal soil temperature of 25-30°C. Recommended planting scheme — 50x50 cm. Cucumber Capital combines high productivity, disease resistance, and outstanding taste qualities, making it an excellent choice for gardeners and farmers.
