MAMLUK

Mamlik F1 is an early, high-yielding hybrid of parthenocarpic cucumber of cornichon type with female flowering. Fruit set begins 40-42 days after emergence of seedlings. The plant has a strong root system, ensuring rapid development and abundant yield. The internodes are of medium length, and the lateral branches are strong and can reach up to one meter in length. For uniform and prolonged fruiting, regular removal of flower buds is recommended.

The fruits of Mamlik cucumber are cylindrical, 10-14 cm long, 2.5-4 cm in diameter, and weigh 110-130 grams on average. Their color is dark green with light longitudinal stripes, sometimes with slight spotting along the stripes. The skin is moderately ribbed, covered with dense white spines. The flesh is very juicy, crisp, with a pleasant sweet and refreshing taste, free of bitterness. Cucumbers are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, and salting.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a number of diseases, including true and false powdery mildew, root rots, green mosaic, ascochitosis, and olive spot. Mamlik F1 grows well both in greenhouses and in open ground, possesses excellent taste and commercial qualities, is transportable, and is resistant to damage. Yield is 12.9-13.7 kg per square meter, making this variety attractive for cultivation both in commercial and home gardens.
