MALACHITE VICTORY

Malachite Victory is an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid that begins fruiting 40-45 days after germination. This variety is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, under plastic covers, and in open ground. The plant is medium-branched with female flower type, and typically two fruits form at each node, contributing to good yield.

The fruits of Malachite Victory have a smooth cylindrical shape, medium-bumpy surface, and dark green color with faint stripes and white spines. The length of the cucumbers is 11-13 cm, and the weight is 125-140 grams. They possess excellent flavor both fresh and after processing, making this hybrid versatile for fresh consumption, as well as pickling and marinating.

The hybrid is resistant to true powdery mildew and olive spot, simplifying care and reducing disease risk. For planting, seeds should be sown indoors at the end of April, and seedlings transplanted into the ground at the end of May to early June, when they have 3-4 true leaves. Direct sowing into the ground is recommended at the end of May, with a planting scheme of 50x50 cm. Seeds retain viability for up to 7 years under proper storage conditions, but after this period, the recommended sowing rate should be increased.
