Cucumber DONCHAK

Cucumber variety Donchak is an early-maturing hybrid that reaches fruiting in 40-45 days after germination. The plant is indeterminate, with minimal branching and predominantly female flowering, with 3-4 female flowers forming in each node, contributing to high yield. The root system is strong, and 1 to 3 fruits set per node, ensuring stable and abundant fruiting. The variety is suitable for cultivation in plastic greenhouses and under temporary plastic coverings, making it versatile for various climatic conditions. Cucumber fruits of the Donchak variety have a cylindrical shape, dark green color with short light stripes, medium ribbed, and covered with white spines. The length of the cucumbers is 12-14 centimeters, and weight ranges from 120 to 145 grams. Cucumbers are distinguished by excellent taste, good storability, and transportability, making this variety popular for salad use as well as for canning. High commercial yield reaches 15.5-16.5 kg per square meter, which is a significant indicator for cucumbers of this type. The Donchak variety is characterized by high resistance to major diseases such as downy mildew, root rot, and powdery mildew, as well as tolerance to pests. This allows growing cucumbers without intensive use of chemical protective agents, which is especially important for obtaining ecologically clean products. Due to its high ecological plasticity and adaptability, this hybrid is successfully cultivated in all regions of the country, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
