Corn seeds SY Amplitude are a medium-early hybrid with FAO 260, intended for silage and biogas production. This hybrid features a silica-type kernel and is adapted for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, forest-steppe, and central and northern steppe regions. SY Amplitude has a medium-plastic adaptability type, ensuring its resilience to diverse weather conditions and agronomic practices.
The hybrid is characterized by high green mass yield, reaching 550-750 centners per hectare, as well as high dry matter content. Corn green mass contains 34.4-38.2% starch and 6.3-6.5% protein, providing lactation energy at 6.6-7.1 MJ/kg and digestibility of mass at 74.5-75.4%. These characteristics make SY Amplitude a valuable source of nutritious animal feed and an effective raw material for biofuel.
The hybrid exhibits rapid early growth and high cold resistance, enabling it to successfully withstand spring temperature fluctuations. Additionally, SY Amplitude is resistant to root and stalk rot, ear mold, and other diseases typical for corn. It is recommended to sow at soil temperature +8-10°C at optimal depth and conduct early harvest to achieve maximum productivity.
