Maize SY PANDORAS

The SY PANDORAS hybrid maize from Syngenta is a high-yielding mid-early variety with FAO 250, characterized by stable yields and high potential. The plants have erect leaf arrangement and Stay Green type, which ensures high-quality animal feed and prolonged retention of green mass. The grain is siliceous with high starch content (up to 74%) and protein (around 9.3-9.4%), making it suitable for processing into grit and other food products. The high grain density improves the quality and market appearance of the harvest.

The hybrid is adapted to various climatic conditions, including forest-steppe, Polissia, and steppe zones, and is characterized by moderate plasticity. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: at adequate moisture — 65-75 thousand plants per hectare, at unstable — 55-65 thousand, at insufficient — 40-50 thousand. Potential yield is 13-15 tons of grain and 6-7 tons of silage per hectare.
