SY PAMPLONA corn seeds are a high-yielding mid-early hybrid with FAO 270, developed by Swiss selection. This dent-type grain is highly adaptable to intensive growing conditions and responds excellently to high fertility, ensuring high fertilizer return when using intensive technologies. The hybrid features rapid grain moisture loss during ripening, facilitating timely harvest and reducing yield losses.
To achieve maximum productivity, planting should be conducted at optimal early dates when soil temperature is +8...10 °C at seed depth. Recommended plant density at harvest depends on moisture levels: 60-70 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture, 50-60 thousand under unstable conditions. The hybrid performs well in forest-steppe and Polissia regions, showing resistance to root and stalk rot, as well as tolerance to head smut.
