Maize Sumsuma

Stable yields without unnecessary hassle

It’s not a situation where you need to be in the field with a sprayer every five days—the breeding expertise of the originators (Freiherr Von Moreau Saatzucht and partners) really shows here.

Crop health: less fungicide, more profit

In high-humidity conditions, when neighboring fields start succumbing to infections, this corn stands firm. It shows excellent resistance to Fusarium and smut diseases.

Agronomics and performance data

The flint-dent grain type ensures excellent moisture release, which is critical during harvest. The grain fills out well and maintains good density. The hybrid is easy to manage within a standard technological cycle:

• Recommended sowing density: 80-85 thousand plants/ha—an optimal balance for achieving a well-filled cob.
• Uniform emergence: with proper soil preparation, the hybrid displays very high germination energy.
• Harvesting: thanks to a sturdy stalk and high resistance to common smut, the crop stands tall until the combine arrives.

For an agronomist who doesn't want to gamble with their harvest, Zumzuma from AIC-Seeds is a choice for stability. The hybrid is predictable in its development, requires no "special treatments," and produces high-quality grain that meets elevator standards.
