Description Zuporto
Suporto sugar corn is a simple dent hybrid with FAO 280, developed for efficient cultivation under various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 210-230 cm, with ears positioned at 90-100 cm. The hybrid features rapid early growth and moderate Stay Green effect, which helps maintain green mass during maturity. Grain moisture release rates are fast, and lodging resistance is high, ensuring yield protection.

Suporto boasts high yield potential, exceeding 15 tons per hectare, at optimal planting density of 70-80 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered zones and 60-70 thousand in water-stressed conditions. Grains are arranged in 16-18 rows with 36-40 kernels per row, and 1000-kernel weight ranges from 300-320 grams. The hybrid is adapted to minimal soil tillage and demonstrates high tolerance to stressful conditions, including heat and drought.

Special attention has been given to Suporto's resistance to major diseases: common rust, stem fusarium, and helminthosporium, where the hybrid shows very high tolerance. It also exhibits high cold and lodging resistance, making it a reliable choice for various agro-climatic zones. High germination energy and stress tolerance ensure stable emergence and plant development, contributing to high-quality and abundant yields.
