Maize ES MIDWAY

Corn hybrid ES MIDWAY is a mid-late maturing hybrid with FAO 340, developed by the leading European breeding company Lidea. This hybrid is characterized by high profitability of cultivation both under extensive and medium-intensive technologies. Thanks to its strong root system and resistance to various agroclimatic conditions, ES MIDWAY ensures stable yields in forest-steppe and steppe zones. The grain type is silicified-toothed, which contributes to high starch content and good grain quality, ideally suited for both grain and silage use.

Hybrid ES MIDWAY exhibits high resistance to diseases, including Fusarium of ear and stem, Helminthosporium, blister and smut, as well as lodging. These qualities minimize yield losses and reduce costs for plant protection. Rapid grain moisture release contributes to optimizing drying costs, which is particularly important during harvest. ES MIDWAY is well adapted for cultivation on sandy and loamy soils, demonstrating high initial growth energy and drought resistance.

To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to follow optimal planting density: 65-70 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, and 50-60 thousand under insufficient moisture. Planting is recommended at optimal temperatures of +10°C and above. Balanced nutrition and timely moisture control, including irrigation if necessary, are crucial for successful cultivation. Preventive measures against pests and diseases also contribute to stable and high yields.
