ES VULCAIN

Corn ES VULCAIN is a high-quality mid-season hybrid with a vegetation period of about 90-110 days, suitable for cultivation in open ground. This variety features a strong root system and sturdy stem, reaching a height of 1.6-1.8 meters, which ensures high resistance to lodging and drought. The crop exhibits high tolerance to major diseases such as ear and stem fusarium, helminthosporium, and smut and ear rot, significantly enhancing its reliability and yield under various climatic conditions, including the Steppe, Forest-Steppe zones, and Polissia regions of Ukraine.

The distinctive feature of ES VULCAIN is its kernel, which has a silvery-toothed type and a drop-like shape with a shiny, dense yellow hull. The kernels possess excellent taste qualities and are ideally suited for making airy popcorn, making this variety one of the best for processing into plastic and popcorn. Each plant produces up to 4 ears, 11-16 cm long and weighing 200-300 g, with 5-6 kernels per gram. Due to its kernel structure, popcorn made from ES VULCAIN is airy even when cooked on a regular frying pan.

For successful cultivation of corn ES VULCAIN, planting is recommended from early May to late June, with the option of planting in several batches with a two-week interval. The crop is very demanding in terms of watering and does not tolerate frost, so it is important to observe optimal planting dates at temperatures of +10 °C or higher. Its high yield potential, reaching 170 centners per hectare, rapid water release, and adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions make ES VULCAIN a profitable choice for intensive and medium-intensity cultivation technologies.
