Snow White is a mid-early hybrid of white sweet corn that matures in approximately 81 days after sowing. The plant reaches a height of about 200 cm and forms ears 20-22 cm long with 12-14 rows of white kernels at the milk-to-wax maturity stage. Due to the absence of lutein pigment, the kernels have a pure white color, giving them an attractive market appearance and making this variety especially popular in the market.
This corn is distinguished by high sugar content and easily digestible protein, as well as being rich in calcium, magnesium, chromium, sulfur, and a complex of vitamins. The soft and juicy kernels are an excellent source of beneficial substances, making this variety ideal for feeding children, allergy sufferers, and individuals with digestive tract disorders. The Snow White variety is excellent for consumption fresh, boiled, as well as for canning and freezing, allowing its use throughout the entire summer.
The variety is well-adapted to the climatic conditions of Ukraine and can be successfully grown even with late sowing in late May to early June, significantly extending the sweet corn season. For an early harvest, it is recommended to pre-soak the seeds for one day, followed by keeping them at 20 degrees Celsius during the day and 6 degrees Celsius at night for 10-12 days. The seed planting depth is 6-8 cm. Due to these characteristics, Snow White is an excellent choice for farmers and enthusiasts who value high quality and superior taste.
