SOLOMON

The SOLOMONE corn variety is a mid-early maturity feed crop suitable for cultivation as grain or silage. The plant is tall, reaching up to 260 cm, and is characterized by resistance to lodging and stem breakage. The ear is nearly cylindrical, 21-23 cm long, positioned 80-90 cm above the ground. The ear stalk is red, the kernels are dent-shaped and yellow, arranged in 16-18 rows. The corn is resistant to pests and many diseases, ensuring a reliable yield.

SOLOMONE is characterized by high productivity and adaptability to various growing conditions. Due to its mid-early maturity and intensive water release during ripening, the grain reaches a moisture content of 16-18%, facilitating harvesting and storage. The yield potential of the variety varies depending on the growing region and can range from 11.1 t/ha in the steppe zone to 15.0 t/ha in the forest-steppe zone. The optimal plant density depends on the region, ranging from 40-45 thousand/ha in the steppe to 70-80 thousand/ha in the Polесье region.
