Soyuz

Corn hybrid 'Union' is a mid-early hybrid with maturity group FAO 250-280, intended for cultivation in Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polisia zones. This hybrid is characterized by high drought and heat tolerance, ensuring stable grain yield even under adverse climatic conditions. The plant reaches a height of 230-240 cm, with ear attachment height of 85-95 cm, does not develop bushiness, and has good lodging resistance.

The ear, 22-24 cm long, contains 16-18 rows of kernels with a red core. The kernels are yellow-orange in color, sometimes with red stripes, and have a serrated shape. The 1000-kernel weight is 280-300 grams. Recommended seeding density varies depending on the cultivation zone: in Steppe — 50-55 thousand plants per hectare, in Forest-Steppe — 75-80 thousand, in Polisia — approximately 90 thousand plants per hectare.

Hybrid 'Union' is distinguished by high yield: in the Steppe zone, it reaches 8-9 tons per hectare, in Forest-Steppe — 11.6-12.3 tons. The seeds are treated with Maxim XL 035 FS, enhancing their protection and promoting better plant growth. Due to its profitability and stable yield, this hybrid is one of the best options for grain production in the specified regions of Ukraine.
