Corn RAM 6475 is a simple modified mid-season maturing hybrid with FAO 300, corresponding to a life cycle from germination to maturity of 115-120 days. This hybrid was developed by specialists of the company Stepovaya and is intended for cultivation both as grain and for silage. RAM 6475 is characterized by high seed germination energy, ensuring rapid and uniform emergence, as well as intensive seedling development in early stages, promoting timely plant formation. Plant height ranges from 280 to 320 cm, with the ear located at a height of 100-110 cm and having a weak conical shape, 24-26 cm long. Approximately 16 rows of kernels form on each ear, each row containing 40-42 tooth-shaped yellow kernels that quickly lose moisture during ripening, facilitating drying and preparation of the harvest for storage. The hybrid RAM 6475 is characterized by high complex resistance to diseases and lodging, confirmed by a lodging resistance score of 9 points and a drought, pest, and main disease resistance score of 8 points. Thanks to its wide ecological plasticity, this hybrid is successfully grown in Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones, demonstrating stable high yields. Grain yield reaches 140-145 c/ha, while silage mass reaches 600-650 c/ha, with the silage exhibiting high quality. RAM 6475 responds well to mineral fertilizer application, enabling increased productivity and adaptation to various soil-climatic conditions. For sowing, corn seeds RAM 6475 are packaged in multi-layer strong paper bags designed for one planting unit, containing approximately 80 thousand seeds. Pre-harvest plant density is 45-55 thousand plants/ha in Steppe and 60-70 thousand plants/ha in Forest-Steppe. The 1000-seed mass is within the range of 320-340 g, indicating good seed quality.
