Description Zaporizhzhia 333 MV
Zaporizhzhia 333 MV is a simple modified hybrid of sweet corn, registered in the Register of Plant Varieties since 2010. It belongs to the medium-maturing group with FAO 330 and is intended for cultivation for grain and silage. The hybrid is characterized by high potential grain yield, reaching 10-11 tons per hectare, making it a profitable choice for agricultural producers.

The plant reaches a height of 240-250 cm, with ear attachment height of 80-90 cm. The cylindrical ear is 23-24 cm long, with a red cob and 16-18 rows of yellow kernels with red edges. The number of kernels per row varies from 34 to 38, and the 1000-kernel weight is 310-330 grams. The plant does not bush, simplifying agronomy and promoting uniform growth.

The hybrid has high resistance to lodging and stem breakage, as well as to cold, drought, and heat. It is resistant to major diseases and pests, reducing the risk of yield loss. Zaporizhzhia 333 MV responds well to improved growing conditions and is less susceptible to yield reduction under adverse conditions and technological deviations. The recommended pre-harvest planting density is 70-75 thousand plants per hectare in forest-steppe zones and 45-50 thousand in steppe zones.
