Maize PG 26/44 M

Field performance of PG 26/44 M

When selecting a corn hybrid for the fresh market and food processing, reliability is the key factor. The PG 26/44 M hybrid from the "Golden Cob - Pavlovsky" seed center offers exactly that: stability and predictability. With a maturity cycle of 78–80 days, it is a perfect early-season choice that allows for efficient harvest scheduling.

Agro-technical resilience

The primary concern for any corn grower is disease pressure. PG 26/44 M demonstrates strong genetic resistance against corn smut and stalk rots. This natural resilience significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, which directly improves the bottom line and reduces overall production costs. The stalks are sturdy, minimizing lodging risks and making harvest operations much smoother.

Grain quality and market value

The grain is of a flint-dent type with a rich yellow-orange color, meeting the high standards required for both fresh produce retail and commercial processing. The grain fills well, and the harvest process is efficient, with high shelling percentages. For farmers targeting quality-conscious consumers, this hybrid provides the aesthetic and nutritional profile required in today’s competitive market.

• Maturity: 78–80 days, ideal for intensive cropping.
• Disease resistance: High tolerance to stalk rot and smut.
• Usage: Versatile application for fresh market sale and processing.

If you are looking for a reliable, fast-maturing hybrid that doesn't compromise on plant health or yield quality, PG 26/44 M is a proven choice for your farming operations.
