Description PG 26/44 M
PG 26/44 M is a mid-season corn hybrid with high yield and resistance to adverse growing conditions. The plant reaches a height of 220-230 cm, has a strong stalk resistant to lodging and strong winds. The ear is cylindrical in shape, longer than 20-25 cm, densely filled with kernels in 14-16 rows. Kernels have a cream-toothed shape and bright yellow or yellow-orange color, indicating high quality and maturity of the fruit. The hybrid is characterized by high drought and heat tolerance, as well as resistance to stress conditions, allowing it to consistently produce high yields even under temperature fluctuations and water deficiency. Corn kernels tolerate pathogens such as stalk rot and powdery mildew, ensuring yield preservation and reducing losses during storage and transport. The vegetation period is 78-80 days, allowing the hybrid to be used for both fresh market and processing. PG 26/44 M is packed in 5-layer paper bags, cleaned and sorted by fractions, facilitating its use and storage. The 1000-kernel weight is 250-270 g, indicating kernel size and density. High sugar content (more than 23%) makes this hybrid especially attractive to consumers who value sweet corn flavor. Due to its characteristics, PG 26/44 M is a competitive product with excellent commercial mass and preservation during transport.
