Maize PG 10/45 M

Technical Specifications of PG 10/45 M

PG 10/45 M is a maize hybrid developed through the collaborative efforts of the All-Russian Research Institute of Maize and Agrohybrid. It is engineered for dual-purpose application, providing flexibility for grain production and high-quality silage harvesting. With an FAO rating ranging from 90 to 1240, this hybrid offers excellent adaptability across various agro-climatic zones.

Performance and Resilience Metrics

• Grain Quality: The dent-type grain structure is optimized for high starch content and nutritional value, making it highly suitable for both livestock feed and commercial processing.
• Disease Resistance Package: A significant technical advantage of this hybrid is its built-in resistance to common smut. Furthermore, it exhibits robust performance against fusarium and stalk smut, reducing the need for intensive chemical interventions and ensuring a cleaner harvest.

Cultivation Guidelines

The recommended planting density is 60,000 to 70,000 plants per hectare. This density range is critical for maintaining an optimal physiological balance between vegetative growth and ear development. By adhering to these agronomic parameters, growers can expect a consistent performance in both yield volume and plant health throughout the season.
