PHEGVV — this is a high-yielding corn hybrid with a medium-early maturity period, intended for grain, silage, and meal production. The plant has medium height, narrow leaves, and a short cylindrical ear with 14–16 rows of kernels. The kernel type is intermediate, closer to dent, with yellow-orange upper part and orange lower part. The stalk and ear have medium anthocyanin coloration, while the plant exhibits weak anthocyanin coloration in silk and leaf sheaths. Plant height ranges from 220–250 cm, providing good resistance to lodging and strong winds. The hybrid shows high yield stability, reaching 12–14 tons of grain per hectare and 45–50 tons of silage per hectare, making it suitable for various agronomic conditions. It possesses very high drought resistance and tolerates temperature fluctuations, ensuring stable fruiting even under adverse climatic conditions. Due to these qualities, PHEGVV is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe. Hybrid seeds are carefully cleaned and packed in five-layer paper bags, ensuring high quality and preservation. The 1000-kernel weight is 250–270 grams, indicating high seed density and quality. PHEGVV also demonstrates resistance to major corn diseases such as stalk rot and gray leaf spot, further enhancing its reliability and economic efficiency in cultivation.
