MAŠUK 150 MV

MAŠUK 150 MV — an early-maturing three-row corn hybrid intended for intensive cultivation for grain, stover, and silage with grain content at the waxy ripening stage. The hybrid is characterized by cold tolerance and rapid grain filling with efficient moisture release, making it especially suitable for regions with a short growing season. Plant height reaches 230–235 cm, ear attachment is at 78–80 cm, and ear length is 18–20 cm. The number of rows of kernels varies from 12 to 14, and the 1000-kernel weight is approximately 250 g. The grain has an intermediate type, closer to the silken type, with yellow-orange coloring on the upper part and orange on the lower.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to root lodging, stem breakage below the ear, and stalk diseases, southern helminthosporium, ear blight, and Fusarium ear rot. These characteristics ensure stable yields and reduce the risk of losses under adverse conditions. Average grain yield in cultivation regions is about 23.8 c/ha, confirming its high productivity.

MAŠUK 150 MV is recommended for cultivation using intensive technology with optimal plant density per hectare: 80–90 thousand on fallow land, and approximately 70 thousand under insufficient moisture availability. Grain contains 9.84% protein, 65.07% starch, 2.35% sugar, 4.70% fat, 1.49% fiber, and 1.09% ash, making it valuable for various uses. The hybrid meets modern agronomic requirements and ensures high-quality output.
