Corn 'MAŠUK 175 MV' is an early-maturing three-line F1 hybrid of universal purpose, intended for grain, silage, and grain-stalk mass production. The hybrid is characterized by high adaptability and is suitable for cultivation in regions with limited vegetation periods, including southern areas, repeat and post-harvest plantings. It exhibits good cold resistance and rapid grain moisture reduction upon maturity, facilitating harvest and storage.
Plants reach a height of 210-225 cm, with ears attached at 65-70 cm. The ear has a weak conical shape, 19-20 cm long, with 14-16 rows of kernels, and a 1000-kernel weight of approximately 200 g. The grain is intermediate type, closer to dent type, with yellow upper and yellow-orange lower parts. The grain contains approximately 8.96% protein, 68.87% starch, 2.42% sugar, 3.81% fat, 1.17% fiber, and 0.87% ash.
The hybrid is resistant to southern helminthosporiosis, bubble head rot, stalk rots, and root lodging, and also exhibits drought resistance and efficient water utilization in dry conditions. Recommended planting density varies according to conditions: 80,000 plants per hectare in well-watered zones, 70,000 in dry zones, and up to 100,000 under irrigation. Average grain yield is about 7.1 t/ha, while silage mass yield reaches 42 t/ha, confirming the hybrid's high productivity and universality.
