Maize FS 1921

FS 1921 — this is an early-maturing double-row hybrid corn with FAO 190, intended for grain, silage, ethanol, and forage production. Plants reach a height of 280–290 cm, with ears positioned at 90–100 cm, and form 16–17 leaves with semi-erect arrangement. The ear has an intermediate shape and contains 16–18 rows of yellow kernels. The hybrid is characterized by high adaptability, resistance to overcrowding, and recommended plant density of 60–90 thousand plants per hectare depending on growing conditions. FS 1921 exhibits resistance to a range of diseases, including stalk rot, downy mildew, ear fusarium, and helminthosporiosis. The hybrid is adapted for early planting and demonstrates enhanced response to high agronomic input, contributing to stable yields. Moderately plastic in type, it features wide adaptability potential and good stay-green trait, indicating prolonged retention of green biomass. Silage mass yield is characterized by high starch content and good digestibility, with moisture loss at a moderate level. Due to its characteristics, FS 1921 is suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions and ensures high productivity when recommended agronomic practices are followed. Its universal use and disease resistance make this hybrid an attractive choice for farmers focused on obtaining high-quality grain and silage.
