KOSYNIER

KOSYNIER — a mid-early three-line hybrid corn, intended for grain cultivation in the Central Chernozem and Middle Volga regions. This hybrid is characterized by a medium grain type, closer to a silken type, with the upper part of the grain having a yellow or orange hue and the lower part yellow-orange. The ear attachment height is 120-130 cm, the ear contains 14-16 rows of kernels, with 32-34 kernels per row. The 1000-kernel weight reaches 336 g, and the FAO ranges from 220-230, indicating a mid-early maturity and high productivity.

The hybrid exhibits high yield and resistance to major corn diseases, including common rust, ear fusarium, and stalk rot. In field conditions, it shows moderate resistance to stalk rot and mild infection by fusarium and ear smut. KOSYNIER demonstrates rapid growth during the vegetative period and high water shedding, facilitating harvest and improving grain quality. The plant has medium height, broad leaves, and the 'Stay green' effect, which helps maintain green mass over a longer period and enhances photosynthesis.

The hybrid is less demanding on soil conditions, broadening its cultivation possibilities. The recommended planting density for silage use is 70,000-75,000 plants per hectare, and for grain use — 65,000-70,000. High adaptability and stable yields make KOSYNIER an attractive choice for farmers seeking high-quality grain with good yield and resistance to adverse conditions.
