Description MAŠUK 168
Corn MAŠUK 168® is an ultraprecocious three-line hybrid of universal purpose, intended for grain and silage production. This variety is characterized by good early development and plasticity, enabling successful cultivation in regions with limited growing seasons. The vegetation period is approximately 122 days, ensuring timely harvest.

Plants are of medium height — 210–220 cm, with ear attachment at 70–80 cm. Leaves are of medium width, and the 1000-grain weight reaches 252 g. Grain is dent-type, with moisture content at harvest around 21%, and dry matter content — 30.3%. The hybrid exhibits high yield: average grain yield is 83.9 c/ha, maximum up to 92.3 c/ha.

MAŠUK 168® possesses high resistance to infection by common smut, lodging at the base, and stem breakage below the ear during stand. These characteristics make this variety especially valuable for animal husbandry and livestock feeding, as it ensures high nutritional value and reliability during storage and transportation.
