Maize MAS 14G

Stability and Early Vigor: The Edge of MAS 14G

French selection from Maisadour Semences is globally recognized for its pragmatic approach to early-maturity hybrids, and MAS 14G stands as a prime example. In an era of unpredictable climate patterns, this simple hybrid acts as a risk-management tool: with a maturity cycle of 90-100 days, it reliably forms a full grain yield before adverse weather conditions peak.

Agronomic Potential and Characteristics

The flint-type grain is the standout feature of this hybrid, ensuring high test weight and exceptional resistance to root lodging. Unlike many dent hybrids, MAS 14G handles early-season temperature fluctuations with greater resilience, making it a preferred choice for regions with cool springs.

• Usage: Dedicated to high-yield grain production with excellent dry-down rates.
• Density: Recommended plant density at harvest is 80,000–85,000 plants/ha.
• Stress Tolerance: Its high plasticity ensures potential stability even in soils with varying fertility levels.

Who Should Choose This Hybrid?

MAS 14G is an ideal solution for farmers focused on intensive agriculture within shorter growing seasons. It allows for precise harvest planning, facilitating timely field preparation for subsequent winter crops. If your priority is a reliable, high-quality grain yield without the heavy overhead of moisture reduction costs, this French-bred hybrid is a sound strategic investment.
