Sugarcane corn MAS 14G is an ultra-early hybrid with European selection, designed for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including forest-steppe and steppe. This variety exhibits medium resistance to cold and drought, allowing successful cultivation under variable weather conditions and stressful situations such as early spring frosts and chemical treatment of crops. The ear attachment height is 105 cm, and the maturity group is medium-early, ensuring timely harvest. MAS 14G has medium water permeability and high suitability for monoculture cultivation, making it convenient for farmers aiming to optimize sowing areas. The hybrid does not form two ears, promoting nutrient concentration on a single crop and enhancing its quality. Seeds of the silicate type are supplied in sowing units of 80,000 seeds, facilitating planning and sowing operations. The yield of the MAS 14G variety reaches 12-15 tons per hectare, which is a high indicator for this type of corn. Due to its high moisture content and kernel density, this variety is especially suitable for producing wheat flour, ensuring high-quality end product. However, it is important to note that MAS 14G is not intended for food use, which should be considered when planning its application.
