Corn hybrid Krasnodarskiy 370 MV is a mid-season, double-cross, first-generation hybrid with FAO 370, intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions. The vegetation period is approximately 108–115 days, ensuring optimal maturation under the specified climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 260–270 cm, with ear attachment height of 110–120 cm and 18–19 leaves on the main stem. Leaf blade is medium-wide, and the ear is slightly conical and long, with an average number of rows of kernels. The kernels are dent-shaped with yellow coloring on the upper part, which is characteristic of this hybrid. The hybrid exhibits good yield: average grain yield in the North Caucasus region reaches 52.7 c/ha, which is 9.6% higher than the standard, and in the Lower Volga region — 36.3 c/ha (+9.7%). Maximum grain yield records were observed at over 109 c/ha. Average dry matter content in the grain is about 37.6%, contributing to high product quality. Krasnodarskiy 370 MV demonstrates drought resistance and responds well to favorable growing conditions, making it versatile for various agronomic practices. The hybrid shows moderate resistance to gray leaf spot and stalk rot, as well as low susceptibility to bacterial wilt. Damage from the corn borer may be significant, therefore appropriate protective measures are recommended. Krasnodarskiy 370 MV is well adapted to mechanical harvesting, simplifying agronomic operations and increasing production efficiency.
