LUBAZI KS

LUBAZI KS is a simple corn hybrid intended for grain use. It features a dent-type kernel with yellow-orange coloring on the upper part and a silica-dent structure. The hybrid has a medium vegetative period of about 104 days and is characterized by high yield, averaging 55.6 c/ha and potentially reaching 152.5 c/ha under optimal conditions. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 280 to 320 grams, indicating large and high-quality kernels. Plant height ranges from 250 to 320 cm, and ear attachment height ranges from 100 to 130 cm, ensuring ease of harvest and good productivity.

The LUBAZI KS hybrid exhibits excellent phytosanitary condition throughout all growth stages, including late maturation. It is resistant to several diseases, such as helminthosporiosis, fusarium, and common smut, and has moderate resistance to corn borer. Due to its strong root system and healthy stalk, the plant tolerates early planting and is suitable for no-till technology. Additionally, the hybrid shows resistance to lodging and the "Stey Green" effect, contributing to stable yields year after year.

LUBAZI KS is versatile in use: its grain is suitable for processing into grit, flour, and flakes, and can also be used for silage. Recommended planting density depends on growing conditions—ranging from 55,000 to 90,000 plants per hectare depending on moisture and irrigation. The hybrid requires a sum of effective temperatures for flowering of about 945 °C and for achieving optimal grain moisture—about 1740 °C. All these characteristics make LUBAZI KS a high-yielding and reliable choice for agricultural producers focused on quality grain and stable yields.
