Corn Kishkun TC 190 is an early-maturing simple hybrid FAO 190 developed by the Institute of Steppe Agriculture of NAAN Ukraine. Plants are medium-height, 190-200 cm tall, with cylindrical ears 18-20 cm long, attached at a height of 60-70 cm. Grain is dent-shaped, yellow, with 16-18 rows and 36-38 kernels per row. The 1000-kernel weight is 270-280 grams, and grain yield reaches 80-85%. The hybrid is characterized by high grain moisture content and is suitable for both conventional and intensive cultivation methods. Kishkun TC 190 has a high yield potential — 110-125 centners per hectare (11-12.5 tons per hectare), allowing it to compete with later-maturing hybrids. It exhibits high resistance to major diseases, pests, drought, low temperatures, and lodging, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions. The plant is light, compact, and economical, making it a typical grain hybrid with intensive seeding requirements. The hybrid is widely used in agriculture as a forage crop, as well as for sugar, ethanol, and other product production. Due to its high resistance to diseases and stress factors, as well as high grain moisture content, corn Kishkun TC 190 is one of the best early hybrids on the Ukrainian market. It is recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones, where it demonstrates excellent yield and quality performance.
