Maize CORN KEDR MV

Stability and Field Performance

Developed by the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center, the «Kedr MV» hybrid has established itself firmly in the mid-early maize segment. This three-way hybrid is the result of long-term scientific research focused on climatic adaptability and production efficiency.

Agronomic Potential

The core strength of this model lies in its resistance to major pathogens that frequently impact yields. «Kedr MV» demonstrates significant resistance to helminthosporiosis, ear fusarium, and common smut. This trait helps minimize pesticide reliance, ensuring a stable, high-quality harvest even under challenging infection pressures.

Practical Applications

The dent-type grain, combined with the physiological traits of the hybrid, makes it a versatile choice for modern farms:

• Grain Production: The hybrid's genetic potential supports high yield performance under intensive farming practices.
• Silage Harvesting: It is exceptionally well-suited for producing high-quality silage with a high concentration of nutrients.
• Forage Use: A balanced dry matter composition makes it an ideal solution for livestock feed programs.

Due to its mid-early maturation cycle, the hybrid successfully realizes its genetic potential before the onset of early frosts, providing a predictable and secure solution for growers operating across diverse agro-climatic zones.
