Description Campanin
Campanin wheat is a high-yielding winter wheat variety of Canadian selection, characterized by early maturity and high resistance to adverse conditions. This variety features vigorous tillering, large ears, and high gluten content up to 38%, ensuring high grain quality. The vegetation period is approximately 260-280 days, and the potential yield reaches 130-150 centners per hectare, making Campanin one of the leading varieties in winter wheat productivity. Plant height is average, and the variety is distinguished by golden-yellow color of mature ears.

Campanin exhibits high winter hardiness, tolerating temperatures down to -45°C even without snow cover and strong cold winds. Additionally, the variety demonstrates high drought resistance, thanks to transformed genes allowing it to withstand temperatures up to +60°C and salt tolerance. These characteristics make wheat suitable for cultivation under various climatic and soil conditions. The variety also shows high resistance to lodging and grain shattering, contributing to yield preservation.

Special attention is given to Campanin’s resistance to a wide range of diseases, including various types of bacterial infections, root rot, powdery mildew, septoria, rust, Fusarium head blight, and other fungal and viral infections. For sowing, it is recommended to use seed treatments and growth stimulants, as well as implement integrated protection measures using herbicides and insecticides. The seeding rate is approximately 80 kg per hectare, with planting depth of 5-6 cm. Thanks to innovative selection and DNA transformation technologies, the Campanin variety ensures stable and high yields even under challenging agroclimatic conditions.
