Dnipro-303 MV

Dnipro-303 MV is an early-maturing corn hybrid characterized by moderate initial growth and high adaptability to improved cultivation conditions. The plant reaches a height of 240-250 cm, does not bush, and the ear attachment height is 90-100 cm. The ear is cylindrical, 23-24 cm long, with 16 rows of kernels, each row containing 40-43 kernels. The kernels are yellow-orange, dent-type, with a 1000-kernel weight of 310-320 g. The hybrid has a medium-plastic genotype, ensuring stable high grain yield.

This hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to lodging (9 points), allowing for late harvest without significant losses. It is also resistant to infection by common smut and corn borer, and withstands prolonged planting delays. Additionally, Dnipro-303 MV has good drought and high-temperature tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in steppe conditions.

The recommended plant population prior to harvest in steppe zones is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare. The potential grain yield reaches 13.5 tons per hectare, with grain moisture content 0.5-2.2% lower than other hybrids. The hybrid is registered in the Variety Register since 2015, developed by the State Institution of Grain Crops, NAAN Ukraine. Main purpose — grain production.
