DM Eskiz

DM Eskiz — this is an early-maturing simple hybrid corn of Ukrainian breeding, developed by MAIS specifically for grain cultivation. The hybrid has a maturity group of FAO 190, corresponding to a vegetation period of approximately 90-100 days. Plants reach a height of 240 cm, and the ear attachment height is approximately 100 cm. Kernels are dent-shaped, bright yellow, arranged in 14-16 rows on a conical-cylindrical ear with high filling. A strong root system and well-developed stalk ensure the hybrid’s stability and high productivity. DM Eskiz is characterized by high drought tolerance and tolerance to various corn diseases, such as leaf spot and powdery mildew. The hybrid is also resistant to lodging, not susceptible to pests and weeds, and withstands sharp temperature fluctuations, especially in early spring. Thanks to these features, DM Eskiz demonstrates stable yield in various climatic zones of Ukraine, particularly in Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. The hybrid’s yield potential reaches up to 14.4 t/ha, equivalent to 144 c/ha in the Polissia zone, 125 c/ha in the Forest-Steppe, and 100 c/ha in the Steppe. The hybrid is characterized by good growth dynamics in early vegetation stages and the Stay Green effect during the grain maturation stage, which promotes optimal water use. To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to follow sowing density norms depending on the region: from 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in the Steppe to 70-80 thousand in Polissia. DM Eskiz is a profitable choice for agronomists seeking a reliable and high-yielding corn hybrid.
