Maize Dnipro 293 MV

Stable Results in Any Conditions

Developed by the Institute of Grain Farming of the NAAS, this simple hybrid has established itself as a reliable 'workhorse' that doesn't require precision-farming adjustments yet delivers stable yields for both grain and silage. It is convenient to work with because it is not overly sensitive to growing conditions, which is critical in regions with volatile climates.

Field Survivability and Protection

Every agronomist’s primary concern is disease and pest pressure. 'Dniprovsky 293 MV' demonstrates high resistance levels in this regard. Throughout the growing season, it effectively withstands threats such as helminthosporiosis and fusarium, which often erode profits before harvest even begins. Even under a minimal fungicide program, the hybrid maintains ear quality and grain grade. Pests, such as the European corn borer, cause significantly less damage compared to less-adapted foreign counterparts.

Operational Efficiency

The ears form uniformly, reducing header losses during combining. Crop maintenance is simplified because the hybrid does not require aggressive protective measures, which ultimately optimizes costs per hectare. It is a robust Ukrainian product that pays for itself through its reliability and ability to adapt to environmental stresses.
