Maize DMS Sapphire

Reliable yields in challenging conditions

When selecting seeds for fields where moisture is the scarcest resource, the choice often falls on hybrids with high adaptability. DMS Sapphire from NVFG «Kompaniia Mais» offers the predictability that agronomists value. As a simple hybrid focused on high-quality grain production, it simplifies harvest logistics and reduces the need for extensive post-harvest processing.

Field performance

With a maturity period of 100-110 days, the hybrid fits well into most climatic zones. Its FAO 240 rating allows for efficient planning of planting and harvesting schedules, ensuring good moisture dry-down before the combines enter the field.

• Uniformity: The simple hybrid structure ensures even emergence and synchronized maturation across the entire field.
• Durability: Strong stalk architecture minimizes lodging risks, providing flexibility during the harvest window.
• Efficiency: The entire yield potential is directed toward grain production, ensuring maximum return on investment for grain-oriented farms.

Working with DMS Sapphire, it is clear that this breeding program by NVFG «Kompaniia Mais» is tailored specifically for local soil conditions. This is not an imported hybrid requiring perfect agronomic conditions; it is a workhorse capable of delivering consistent results on standard soil types. With proper planting density, the hybrid effectively resists heat stress, maintaining grain weight and quality until the moment of harvest.
