DMS 3510

DMS 3510 — a medium-maturing, simple inter-row hybrid of sweet corn, Ukrainian selection, with FAO maturity group 350. This hybrid is characterized by high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, enabling successful cultivation in regions such as the Polesye, Forest-Steppe, Northern and Southern Steppes. The vegetation period varies from 109 to 119 days depending on the cultivation zone, ensuring stable yield formation under different climatic conditions.

Plants reach a height of about 220 cm, with the ear attached at a height of 60 cm. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to adverse factors: seedling cold resistance and early growth rate are high, and it also shows high resistance to gray leaf spot, corn borer, and lodging. Drought and heat tolerance are rated at level 8 out of 10, making DMS 3510 a reliable choice for cultivation under variable climate conditions.

DMS 3510 is intended for use as forage, silage, and raw material for starch production. Grain yield varies by region: from 35.1 to 101.8 c/ha in the Southern Steppe and from 55.3 to 142.4 c/ha in the Forest-Steppe. The recommended planting density is 30–35 thousand plants per hectare in the Southern Steppe and 50–60 thousand plants per hectare in the Forest-Steppe, promoting optimal development and maximum productivity of the hybrid.
