CD 39

CD 39 — a mid-early hybrid of sweet corn with a dent-type kernel, exhibiting high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions. This hybrid is characterized by rapid growth at the beginning of vegetation and effective moisture release from the kernels during maturation, contributing to stable and high yields. The average grain yield ranges from 79.2% to 81.9%, with protein content in the kernels between 8.8–9.2%, and starch content of 72.8–73.5%. CD 39 demonstrates high resistance to diseases such as common rust, root and stalk rot, and helminthosporiosis, ensuring reliable cultivation and the possibility of reusing seeds on the same field, including monoculture.

For successful cultivation, early planting is recommended at soil temperatures of +6…+8 °C, with seed depth. The optimal plant density at harvest time depends on moisture conditions and ranges from 40 to 70 thousand plants per hectare. This approach allows maximum expression of the hybrid’s potential and achieves high yields of quality grain.

CD 39 is suitable for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones due to its plasticity and resistance to stress factors. High genetic stability and adaptability make this hybrid an attractive choice for farmers aiming for efficient and sustainable sweet corn production.
