Description KELTIKUS
Sugarcane corn KELTIKUS is a remontant hybrid of grain type with very high water-use efficiency. This variety is distinguished by high drought tolerance and resistance to stress conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including steppes, forest-steppe, and lowland areas. Plants reach a height of 260 to 279 cm, with ears attached at 80–90 cm. The hybrid forms large, dent corn kernels with a 1000-kernel weight of 310–320 g and has a yield potential of up to 16 tons per hectare.

KELTIKUS is suitable for both intensive and extensive cultivation technologies. The recommended plant population under adequate moisture is 75–85 thousand per hectare, and under limited moisture — 60–70 thousand per hectare. Plants have erectoid leaf type, promoting optimal growth and reducing lodging risk. The hybrid is resistant to diseases such as helminthosporiosis, fusarium, and powdery mildew, and is not prone to kernel shattering.

To increase yield and protect against diseases, agrochemicals including herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides can be applied without compromising grain quality. KELTIKUS seeds are packaged in multi-layer bags, ensuring convenient transport and storage. This hybrid is a popular choice among farmers due to its reliability, high productivity, and adaptability to various cultivation conditions.
