Description GS 415
GS 415 — a medium-late three-line hybrid corn (Zea mays L.) with a vegetation period of about 112-117 days. The plant is tall with wide leaves, the ear is long and cylindrical, of medium diameter, with a dent type kernel, colored in orange-yellow tones. The hybrid is characterized by medium anthocyanin coloring of various plant parts and medium kernel density, ensuring good yield formation.

GS 415 stands out for its high yield and stability under various climatic conditions, especially in the North Caucasus region, where average yields range from 41.5 to 59.2 c/ha, with a maximum reaching 100.5 c/ha. The grain moisture at harvest is around 19.2%, facilitating storage and processing. The hybrid is adapted for grain production and is widely used as a forage crop.

GS 415 exhibits resistance to several diseases, including southern helminthosporiosis, as well as moderate resistance to powdery mildew, bacterial blight, and fusarium. However, it is susceptible to corn stem borer. These characteristics make the hybrid a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality yields under various agroclimatic zones.
