Description ZPSC 434
Sweet corn hybrid ZPSC 434 was registered in 2002 and is intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region. This mid-late maturing hybrid is characterized by medium plant height and simple plant architecture. The main ear axis is positioned above the upper lateral branch, with medium angles between axes. The plant's silk has weak anthocyanin pigmentation, which is one of the hybrid's distinguishing features.

The ear of ZPSC 434 has a weakly conical shape and medium length, with dent-type kernels of yellow-orange color. The average grain yield in the cultivation region reaches 57.7 centners per hectare, indicating high productivity of the hybrid. Due to its characteristics, this hybrid is suitable for obtaining high-quality grain and can be used in various agrotechnical systems.

The hybrid exhibits resistance to several diseases, including southern helminthosporium with resistance rating up to 8 points, powdery mildew, and bacterial blight. However, it is susceptible to Fusarium and corn stalk borer, requiring appropriate protective measures during cultivation. The developer of the hybrid is the Maize Research Institute «Zemun Polje» from Serbia, and the applicant is LLC «ROSTOK» from Moscow.
