Maize BelHa 234 MV

Field Performance and Reliability

Integrating «BelKha 234 MV» into your crop rotation is a practical decision for farmers prioritizing consistency. Developed by the V. Ya. Yuriev Institute of Plant Production, this simple hybrid acts as a reliable workhorse, adaptable to diverse agricultural conditions. With a growing season of 100–110 days and an FAO rating of 90–1240, it allows for a seamless harvest schedule, whether your focus is on grain yield or silage production.

Agronomic Resilience and Defense

The core advantage for the operator is the hybrid's genetic immunity, which significantly reduces the need for intensive chemical interventions. The plant structure is built to survive adverse field conditions:

• Strong resistance to stem rots, ensuring the crop remains standing until harvest.
• High tolerance to common smut and head smut, protecting yield volume from fungal outbreaks.
• Natural resistance to the European corn borer, reducing pesticide application requirements.

Harvest Quality and Profitability

The dent-flint grain structure ensures excellent grain density. A high starch content of 72% makes this hybrid highly valuable for both feed efficiency and industrial starch production. When used for silage, it provides a high-quality biomass with excellent fermentation properties, leading to higher energy outputs. Managing these fields is straightforward: the hybrid’s predictable development allows for precise fertilizer application and optimized cost-per-hectare efficiency.
