Clover Polysianka

A Versatile Clover for Pastures and Apiaries

"Polisyanka" is a breeding achievement from the National Scientific Center "Institute of Agriculture of the NAAS," standing out as a high-performance solution for both forage production and apiary management. Unlike standard clover varieties, this hybrid is specifically bred to withstand intensive grazing while maintaining excellent regrowth rates.

Why choose Polisyanka?

• Dual-Purpose Utility: This variety excels in two domains: it is a robust forage plant capable of handling livestock pressure, and it serves as a high-quality turf for managed lawns.
• Pollinator Friendly: Its vibrant pink inflorescences make it a prime choice for beekeepers. Integrating this clover into agricultural land creates a functional "honey meadow" that supports bee populations and ecosystem health.
• Morphological Balance: Reaching a height of 30–60 cm, the plant provides a consistent yield of green biomass, maintaining high nutritional value for livestock throughout the season.

Considerations for Growers

While "Polisyanka" is known for its environmental resilience, it shows the best results in areas with moderate to high moisture levels. Its growth performance is optimal in the Polissya and Forest-Steppe regions, where natural rainfall supports its rapid vegetative cycle. In extremely dry conditions, the growth rate may decrease, making irrigation a key factor for maximizing yield in arid climates.

This variety is ideal for farms practicing rotational grazing and land managers looking for a low-maintenance, ecologically beneficial plant that bridges the gap between agricultural productivity and environmental conservation.
