Clover Taifun / Typhoon

Productivity and reliability in every pasture

When selecting forage solutions, the red clover variety 'Tayfun' by Euro Grass Breeding KG stands out as a practical, high-performance tool rather than just a landscape addition. From a practical standpoint, the key advantage of this German-bred variety is the predictability of germination and the stability of vegetation, even under shifting climate conditions.

Agronomic potential for grazing

The core benefit of 'Tayfun' is its high protein content. For livestock owners, this is crucial for maintaining nutritional standards. Animals graze it readily, and thanks to its rapid regeneration after harvesting or grazing, the stand recovers significantly faster than many competing varieties. This reliability ensures that you won't face gaps or thin patches in the middle of the season, maintaining consistent feed availability.

Pollinator impact and maintenance

A significant bonus is its high attractiveness to pollinators. Beekeepers often notice that areas planted with 'Tayfun' see a dramatic increase in bee activity. It is a dual-purpose win: you get top-quality animal feed while supporting the local ecosystem. Regarding maintenance, the culture is hardy and doesn't require complex intervention. Following standard moisture requirements during the initial weeks after sowing is sufficient. The hybrid’s inherent resistance reduces the need for frequent fertilization, lowering overall operational costs.

• High nutritional profile due to excellent protein levels.
• Adaptable to regional climate conditions.
• Optimal for establishing dense, nutrient-rich pastures.
• Environmental advantage: a major magnet for honey bees.
