Clover Jade

JADE is a variety of creeping clover (Trifolium repens L.) intended for haymaking and pasture use. It is characterized by an optimal growing period: 49-51 days from the beginning of spring growth to the first mowing, and 97-100 days to full seed maturity. Thanks to these indicators, the variety allows for effective planning of agricultural activities and obtaining stable yields.

The variety is distinguished by high drought resistance and winter hardiness, each rated at 5 points, ensuring its reliable development under various climatic conditions. Green mass yield reaches 19.5 tons per hectare, and seed yield is 151 kilograms per hectare. An important advantage is the high content of crude protein in dry matter — from 22.4 to 26.9%, while fiber content does not exceed 27-31%, making the feed from this clover nutritious and easily digestible for animals.

JADE also has high resistance to major clover diseases, such as root rot, clover cancer, and ascochytosis. This significantly reduces the risk of yield loss and increases the economic efficiency of cultivation. The variety is recommended for use in various agro-ecological zones where a reliable and productive clover is required for haymaking and pastures.
