Clover Harmonia

Why 'Garmonia' by NPZ Lembke is a pragmatic choice for farmers

In the segment of perennial legumes, the German breeding company NPZ Lembke maintains a high standard of quality, and 'Garmonia' clover is a prime example. Unlike standard forage mixes, this variety demonstrates exceptional flexibility, allowing for effective use of the crop for intensive green mass harvesting as well as for creating high-quality turf cover.

Agronomic Advantages

• Productivity Balance: 'Garmonia' is characterized by a high regrowth rate after mowing, which is critical for farms practicing multiple-cut forage systems.
• Honey Bee Value: The variety features a long and intense flowering period that attracts bees. This not only increases the yield of adjacent entomophilous crops but also makes 'Garmonia' an ideal component for land reclamation or apiary surroundings.
• Adaptability: Thanks to NPZ Lembke's rigorous German breeding standards, the crop tolerates moisture deficits and moderate temperature fluctuations well while maintaining dense stand coverage.

Who is this variety for?

'Garmonia' is an optimal solution for farmers focused on high-protein livestock feed, where digestibility and nutritional value are key. It is also indispensable in landscape design: it forms a dense, traffic-resistant green carpet that requires minimal maintenance while remaining aesthetically pleasing throughout the entire season.

Strengths and Weaknesses

The main advantage is the versatility of use. You are not just buying clover seeds; you are gaining a dual-purpose tool: a forage base with high protein content and an ecologically significant element of the agro-ecosystem that supports pollinator populations. Among the limitations, one should only consider the need for proper crop rotation and soil pH control — clover, like any legume, is demanding regarding its initial growing conditions.
