Clover Vityaz

Endurance and Quality: The «Vityaz» Clover by FSBI FARC of the North-East

The «Vityaz» clover is a distinguished variety developed by the FSBI Federal Agricultural Research Center of the North-East named after N.V. Rudnitsky. Engineered for resilience, this clover variety has earned a solid reputation for its robustness against common environmental stressors and pathogens, making it a preferred choice for both professional landscaping and sustainable agriculture.

Agronomic Profile and Performance

«Vityaz» is characterized by a vegetative period ranging from 80 to 110 days, with plants reaching an optimal height of 40–80 cm. A significant advantage for farmers is its genetic resistance to anthracnose and fusarium wilt, which substantially reduces the risk of crop loss. These biological traits make it an exceptionally reliable performer in diverse soil conditions.

• Durability and Landscaping: One of the standout features of this variety is its high resistance to trampling. This makes it an ideal solution for public lawns, sports fields, and recreational areas that require heavy-duty ground cover.
• Pollinator Support: The aesthetic pink inflorescences are highly attractive to honeybees, providing a dual benefit for ecological balance and local apiaries.

Sowing and Cultivation

To achieve the best results, a seeding rate of 12–15 kg/ha is recommended. This density ensures a thick, lush lawn that is both aesthetically pleasing and structurally resilient. By choosing «Vityaz», you are investing in a research-backed crop that delivers consistent, long-term performance with minimal maintenance requirements.
