The variety was obtained at the All-Russian Selection and Technology Institute for Horticulture and Nurseries by H.D. Enikeev and S.N. Satarova from crossing varieties Lyubskaya x Vladimirskaya. It was included in the State Register in 1993 for the Central Region.
Trees or shrubs are of medium to slightly below medium height (2-2.5 m), with a rounded, slightly drooping crown. Leaves are medium-sized, bright green, with serrated leaf margins. Bears fruit on one-year-old shoots and flower clusters.
Fruits are large (mass 4.5 g), oval, dark burgundy, suitable for fresh consumption and all types of processing (jams, jellies, fruit preserves, compotes). Taste is sweet-tart, dessert-like, with firm, juicy flesh. Juice is dark red, with medium-sized pits that detach easily from the flesh.
High productivity (10-12 kg/tree or 8-10 t/ha). Early fruiting, with annual fruiting, self-fertile. Winter hardiness is above average, comparable to Vladimirskaya. Blossom bud resistance is medium. Resistance to the most dangerous fungal diseases (moniliosis and coccomycosis) is medium; in warm, humid summers, infection reaches 2-3 points.
Advantages of the variety: medium ripening period (from July 20-25), one of the most reliable Moscow varieties with high yields of high-quality fruit.
Disadvantages: medium resistance to fungal diseases.
