Description Novella
This variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Rossohanskaya with the donor of resistance to coccomycosis, Vozrozhdenie No. 1. Originator — All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection. Authors: A.F. Kolesnikova, E.N. Dzhigadlo, O.D. Gol'yaeva, A.A. Gulyaeva. Introduced into the State Register in 2001 for the Central Chernozem region.
Medium-growth tree, up to 3 m tall, with a rounded, spreading, elevated crown. Bud 4.0 mm, egg-shaped, slightly deviated from the shoot. Shoots straight, brownish. Bark on the trunk and main skeletal branches brown. Leaf reverse-egg-shaped, dark green. Apex pointed, base acute, double-toothed margin. Leaf blade surface matte, elastic, flat. Stipules 2, located at the base of the leaf and petiole. Petiole length 29 mm, with anthocyanin coloration along its entire length. Number of flowers in inflorescence 4. Corolla flat, open. Petals white, loosely arranged. Stigma positioned at the same level as the anthers. Blade length 6.7 mm, stamen length 6.8 mm, calyx shape narrow-bowl-shaped, no toothed calyx lobes. Fruits set on cluster branches and last year's growths.
Fruits weighing 4.5-5.0 g, broadly rounded-attenuated shape, height 17 mm, width 18 mm, thickness 13.9 mm. Fruit depression small, apex slightly depressed. Fruits nearly black. Flesh dark red, medium density, juice dark red. Pedicel length 36.9 mm, medium thickness. Stone round, yellow, mass 0.15 g, making up 5.5% of fruit mass. Apex pointed, base rounded. Stone separates easily from flesh.
Fruits have an attractive appearance, rated 4.2 points, flesh juicy, sour-sweet, good taste. Sensory evaluation of fresh fruits 4.2 points. Fruits contain 14% soluble solids, 11.38% sugars, 1.78% acids. Fruit detachment from pedicel medium. Fruits resistant to cracking. Variety of universal use.
Flowering at medium time (May 10-18). Partially self-fertile. Fruit maturation medium (July 15-20), simultaneous. Enters fruiting on the 4th year. Average yield 77.6 c/ha, maximum 99.8 c/ha. Longevity of trees high with proper agronomic practices. Winter hardiness high, flower buds medium. Highly resistant to coccomycosis and moniliosis.
